Dr. Stone 2: Plot, Release Date, and Trailer – Everything We Know About the Anime Series
Created by Riichiro Inagaki and drawn by Boichi, Dr. Stone took the world of manga comics just after it came out. However, the anime series, which was directed by Shinya Lino, was even more popular among the otakus due to its excellent graphics and simple yet thought-provoking storyline.
Due to this reason, ever since the finale of the anime series aired, the fans have been eagerly waiting for the news on the season 2. However, the good news is that the producers, alongside the director, has already confirmed the renewal of the series.

Recently, the team of the production house has confirmed that season 2 of Dr. Stone will release at some point in mid-2020. However, they have not provided us with any other details on this aspect.

Plot of Dr. Stone
The first season of the anime series revolved around three youngsters, Yuruziha Ogawa, Taiju Oki, and Senku Ishigami. By some means, they have a found out a time capsule, which was left behind by Byakuya Ishigami, the father of Senku. The capsule carries a disc on it, which has Ishigami’s voice on it instructing them about the discoveries that they can make in the world. Furthermore, it also tells them the ways, in which they can eliminate the huge empire of Tsukasa and free the petrified people for once and for all.

As the series starts getting towards its end, we see that the Science Kingdom is acquiring a lot more gadgets to find out about the petrification of mankind. Hence, in the second season, we will probably see the battle between Tsukasa Empire and the Science Kingdom. Both the main characters of the series, Yuruziha and Taiju will surely return on the second installment of Dr. Stone. Hence, we will be able to see a little more about how they will develop and battle with the current situation to save mankind. So, all in all, we think that the Dr, Stone: Season 2 is going to be a lot more exhilarating and entertaining than the first one.
