Apple on a mission to collect information for Apple maps in Canada

Apple has published a statement on its websites and in different newspapers revealing plans about Apple Maps in Canada. The company has a plan to roam around the country with huge sensor loaded cars. It will help them to improve about all the nukes and corners of the roads of the country.

Apple does not say that they have any kind of plans to process and scan the whole Canadian roads. If you are a resident of Canada, you will find changes about the map in a few months.

Last year, Apple came with a process to rebuild the Apple maps from the grassroots level.  You can already notice their updated maps in different parts of the U.S with better symbols of green areas and pedestrian. They also worked on the building shapes. They look more accurate than before.

The company is working hard on this program. They have cars equipped with four LIDar arrays and GPS rig. These also have eight high resolution shooting cameras in it.

Apple says that it is all about updating the data quality. Apple can also purchase this data to come with new key features such as cycling competitors, Google street view competitor and proper nukes and corner direction with the help of augmented reality.

Actually, it is pretty hard to work for the Apple Maps without mentioning anything to the world – There are real cars on the road. Now we are waiting for the company to say something about the new key features at the WWDC keynote which is held on next week.
